What: Distance and Arrival: Petticoat Painters exhibition  June 6 - 24. 

When: Friday, June 10, 5 - 7 pm, opening reception

Where: Willis Smith Gallery, Ringling College, 2363 Old Bradenton Rd., Sarasota

The painting above is in the Petticoat Painters group show. Mouth of the Saco River was painted in Maine; the sailboat in the distance was at the mouth of the Saco River. Come see it in this group exhibit.  The title of the show, Distance and Arrival, is a nod to the poet David Whyte.

What: For the Love of Chardin, Zeuxis Group Exhibit

Where: The Miller Art Museum, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin 

The painting below, Sentinel is in the show, For the Love of Chardin; a Zeuxis group exhibition. A full-color catalog will be available, and I'll be posting it.  The show runs 28 May - 11 July.
