Lois Dodd at the Bruce Museum, CT
Last week I took a quick 4-day trip up north to visit my sisters and together we went to see the Lois Dodd retrospective at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich CT. This is Dodd's first retrospective in a museum; it is long, long overdue.
I love her work. Lois is an inspiring role model who paints every day.
There is a beautiful monograph to accompany the show, which was published for a previous, recent exhibit of the same work.
If you're in the area, check it out! The exhibit closes this weekend, on May 28th.
