Justified + Ancient - show opens next week 10/27 & 10/28!
I am in this group exhibit in Sarasota. Each artist chose an ancient artifact from a local art collection and created an artwork inspired by the artifact. The show is sponsored by the Halo Arts Project which provides fellowships for local artists. If you're a lover of art and a supporter of the arts, you're invited! Details below.
For the first time ever - this exhibition Justified + Ancient juxtaposes stunning ancient artifacts with accomplished contemporary artists. There are 16 pairings of work from all different eras. This art exhibition provides a rare opportunity to appreciate extraordinary creativity spanning 5 millennia.
Art sales benefit Halo Arts Project Fellowship Awards for artists.
Justified + Ancient will be celebrated with two ticketed opening events, and after the events is open to the public.
PREMIERE OPENING A Formal Affair – Thursday, October 27th and GRAND OPENING – Friday, October 28th. It is free and open to the public November 1 - 17.
